Open Access Policy

Statement

Guarracuco Sostenible is an open access journal. All of its content is freely available to readers and their institutions from the moment of publication, with no embargo period, no subscription and no prior registration. The journal adheres to the definition of open access in the Budapest Open Access Initiative, under which users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search and link to the full texts.

Licence

Texts published in this journal are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International licence (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This licence allows anyone to share, copy and redistribute the work in any medium and format, under three conditions. The first requires giving credit to the authors and linking to the licence. The second restricts use of the material to non-commercial purposes. The third prohibits distributing derivative works, so the text must be shared in full and without changes.

The licence applies to the published version of each article and is declared in the metadata deposited with Crossref.

Copyright

Authors retain the economic rights to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The journal does not require exclusive assignment or transfer of ownership.

Persistent identifiers

Each article receives a DOI under the prefix 10.52043, registered and deposited with Crossref. Metadata are available for harvesting through the OAI-PMH protocol.

Rationale

The journal regards open access as a consequence of the public nature of the research it publishes and of the institutional funding that supports it.
